    Just fell across this blog. I don’t think I have anything to do with Ballantynes or Gilmours, but I did have an uncle who married a Flanagan (although spelling may be different), and my father had some vague relative who was a Curtis. – Probably just coincidence. My Tolley clan hail from Nethebury on the south coast of England – see
